# Integrate Cal ID with Zoho Bigin

> Connect Cal ID to Zoho Bigin so every booking logs an event and creates or updates the matching contact in your small-business pipeline.

Connecting Cal ID with Zoho Bigin automatically logs appointments and creates contacts in real time, keeping your small-business pipeline current without manual entry. Every booking made through a mapped event type lands in Bigin as an event attached to the right contact.

## Install Zoho Bigin in Cal ID

<Steps>

    Log in to your [Cal ID](https://cal.id/home) dashboard and open [**Apps**](https://cal.id/apps).

  <Step title="Find Zoho Bigin">
    Locate **Zoho Bigin** in the App Store.

  <Step title="Install the app">
    Click **Details**, then **Install App**.

  <Step title="Choose the destination account">
    Pick where the app is installed — a specific **Team** or your **Personal** profile.

## Authorize and map event types

    Sign in at the Zoho Bigin login portal.

    Approve the requested permissions so Cal ID can sync activities to Bigin.

  <Step title="Map your event types">
    Map event types now, or select **configure later**. To turn it on afterwards, open an event's **Apps** tab and toggle Bigin on.

## How data syncs

Every booking through an active event type sends its details to Zoho Bigin.

| Booker           | What happens in Zoho Bigin                                       |
| ---------------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Existing contact | The meeting record is attached to the matching contact.          |
| New contact      | A brand-new contact record is created, found under **Contacts**. |

## Find your meetings in Bigin

In Bigin, open **Activities**, then the **Events** sub-tab, to see the **All Events** table. The **Calendar** sub-tab gives you the same bookings in a visual view.

Click a meeting to see the booker's contact info, the meeting link, and answers to your custom booking questions.

<Tip>
  Use the same email address on Cal ID and Zoho Bigin for each team member, so Bigin assigns the correct event host.
