# Getting Help

> Get help with Cal ID — ask the AI assistant for instant answers, or start a live chat with a real person on the support team when you need one.

Stuck on something? Here's the fastest way to get an answer with Cal ID.

## Ask the AI assistant first

The quickest way to get help is the built-in **AI assistant** at the top of any page. It answers instantly using this entire help center — onboarding, event types, availability, teams, integrations, and the developer API — and links to the exact pages it used.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the assistant">
    Click **Ask Assistant** in the top bar, or press <kbd>⌘</kbd> <kbd>K</kbd> (<kbd>Ctrl</kbd> <kbd>K</kbd> on Windows).
  </Step>

  <Step title="Ask in plain language">
    Type your question the way you'd say it — for example, *"How do I add a buffer between meetings?"* or *"How do I connect Google Calendar?"*
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Talk to a human

If the assistant can't resolve your question, you can reach a real person — **Cal ID offers live chat with the support team.** When the assistant offers to connect you, click **Talk to a human** to open a live chat right away.
