# Features Not Available Yet

> The things Cal ID does not support today, the best workaround for each, and how to request one.

We would rather tell you upfront than have you hunt for a setting that is not there. Everything below is something Cal ID does not do yet, paired with the closest thing that does work today.

## Booking pages

> [accordion] Conditional booking questions
>
> You cannot yet show or hide a booking question based on the answer to a previous one. Every question on an event type is shown to every booker.
>
> **Instead:** use a [routing form](https://cal.id/docs/routing/routing-forms.md). A routing form asks your questions first, then sends the booker to a different event type depending on how they answered — which covers most of what conditional questions are used for, and gives you a record of the answers in the Responses tab.

> [accordion] Verifying a phone number by SMS code
>
> There is no SMS one-time-code check on the booking page.
>
> **Instead:** turn on [email verification](https://cal.id/docs/event-types/booking-questions/verify-email.md), which makes the booker confirm a code sent to their address before the booking completes. If you only need the number recorded rather than verified, a [phone-only event type](https://cal.id/docs/event-types/booking-questions/phone-only.md) collects it as a required field.

## Event types

> You cannot hand an event type to a different Cal ID account as a reusable template.
>
> **Instead:** [duplicate the event type](https://cal.id/docs/event-types/basics/duplicate.md) within your own account, or — if the goal is to give several people the same event type — use [managed events](https://cal.id/docs/teams/managed.md), which push one definition out to every assigned team member and keep it in sync.

## Meetings

> [accordion] Recording in Cal ID Rooms
>
> [Cal ID Rooms](https://cal.id/docs/apps/cal-id-rooms.md) does not record calls by itself.
>
> **Instead:** turn on the [AI Notetaker](https://cal.id/docs/apps/ai-notetaker.md) add-on. It joins the call and produces a recording alongside a transcript, a summary, and action items. It is a separate paid add-on rather than part of any plan.

## Payments and billing

> [accordion] Cashfree and other payment gateways
>
> Cashfree is not supported. Cal ID connects to Stripe, Razorpay and PayPal, and the App Store also offers HitPay, BTCPay Server and Alby — see [Paid Bookings](https://cal.id/docs/apps/paid-bookings.md) for all six. Any gateway not on that list cannot be connected yet.

> [accordion] Quarterly or half-yearly billing

> Cal ID plans bill **monthly** or **yearly** only. See [Subscription and pricing](https://cal.id/docs/getting-started/subscription-and-pricing.md) for both rates.

## Developers

> [accordion] An API or webhook for Insights data

> [Insights](https://cal.id/docs/insights/booking-performance.md) has no API endpoint and fires no webhook, so you cannot pull your booking, workflow, or routing metrics programmatically.
>
> **Instead:** read them in the dashboard, or [export your bookings](https://cal.id/docs/bookings/export.md) and calculate what you need from the raw rows. If you want metrics in something like a warehouse, subscribing to [booking webhooks](https://cal.id/docs/developers/webhooks.md) and aggregating on your side gets you closer than the Insights tab will.
