# How to Request a Feature

> Submit a Cal ID feature request from your dashboard, or post your idea publicly on the Cal ID roadmap where the team and other users can see it.

Have an idea that would make Cal ID work better for you? You can submit a feature request in either of two ways.

## From your dashboard

<Steps>
  <Step title="Log in to Cal ID">
    Sign in to your Cal ID account.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Open Explore More Features">
    Go to **Explore More Features**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Start a request">
    Click **Request a Feature**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Describe and submit">
    Enter your request and click **Submit**.
  </Step>

Share ideas and feature requests directly on the public roadmap at [cal.id/roadmap](https://cal.id/roadmap).

<Tip>
  Before posting, check whether someone has already suggested the same idea on the roadmap. Adding to an existing entry gives it more visibility than a duplicate.
