# Inviting Members to an Existing Team

> Add new members to an existing Cal ID team from the Teams list or from Team Settings, then manage their roles as members, admins, or owners.

Add new people to a team that already exists. You can invite them directly from the Teams list or from within Team Settings — use whichever is quicker for you.

  Only **Owners** or **Admins** can invite new members. When you invite someone, you assign them a role: **Owner**, **Admin**, or **Member**.

        Access your account dashboard.

      <Step title="Go to Teams">
        Click on the **Teams** icon in the left-hand sidebar.

      <Step title="Open the invitation menu">
        Locate the team, click on the **three horizontal dots**, and select **Invite team member**.

      <Step title="Enter details">
        Input the email address of the new member and select their role (**Admin** or **Member**).
      </Step>

        Click **Send invite**.

      <Step title="Log in to Cal ID">
        Access your account dashboard.

        Click on the **Teams** icon in the left-hand sidebar.

        Go to the **Teams** page, click the **three horizontal dots** for the team, and select **Edit team**.

        Click on the **Members** tab at the top of the page.

        Click the blue **+ Add team member** button in the top right.

        Enter the email address and select the role.
