01 Is the Startup plan really free?
Yes. The Startup plan is free forever for one user, with no credit card required. It includes unlimited bookings, event types, calendars and availability schedules, plus workflows, payments, webhooks and the API. Team scheduling is on the Business plan.
02 What counts as a user?
A user is any team member with their own login and booking page. The Startup plan covers a single user. Team scheduling starts on the Business plan, priced per user, per month.
03 Is team scheduling free on Cal ID?
No. Team scheduling, including collective, round-robin and managed event types, is part of the Business plan. You can try it free for 14 days with no credit card, and the Startup plan stays free forever for individual use.
04 What is the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Annual billing is charged once per year and works out to 50% less per user than paying monthly on the Business plan. You can switch between monthly and annual at any time.
05 Do you take a commission on payments?
No. Cal ID charges 0% commission on bookings across every plan. You only pay your payment processor's standard fees through Stripe, Razorpay, or PayPal.
06 Can I change or cancel my plan later?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel anytime. If you cancel a paid plan you keep access until the end of your billing period, then move back to the free Startup plan.
07 Is there a free trial?
Yes. The Business plan comes with a 14-day free trial, no credit card required. You can use every Business feature during the trial, and if you do not upgrade you move to the free Startup plan when it ends.
