Connecting Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel) with Cal ID tracks conversions, optimizes your Facebook ad campaigns, and builds custom audiences from your scheduling data. No custom code is needed — you paste an ID and Cal ID fires the events for you.

Step 1: Find your Meta Pixel ID

1

Open Meta Business Suite

Log in to Meta Business Suite or Business Manager.
2

Go to Events Manager

Open All Tools → Events Manager.
3

Select your web asset

Under Data Sources, select your web asset. Meta now treats the Pixel as a component of a Dataset.
4

Open Settings

Open the asset’s Settings tab.
5

Copy the ID

Copy the Dataset ID (Pixel ID) — a long number.

Step 2: Install Meta Pixel in Cal ID

Open the event type

Open Event Types and click Edit on the event.
2

Enable Meta Pixel

Open the Apps tab and enable Meta Pixel.
3

Add the ID and save

Paste your Pixel ID and save.

Understanding your data

Successful bookings fire a built-in event called booking_success_v2, ready to map for ad conversions out of the box.
Small differences between Cal ID bookings and Meta Events Manager are normal. They’re caused by cookie restrictions, ad blockers, multi-device behavior, or your Meta attribution window.
