Make is a powerful automation tool that lets you connect Cal ID to thousands of other apps like Google Sheets, Slack, or your favourite CRM. By setting up this integration, you can automatically send booking data to other platforms the moment a meeting is scheduled.

Step 1: Get your API key from Cal ID

To connect to Make, you first need an API Key from your Cal ID account.
1

Open Apps and search for Make

Click on the Apps tab in the left-hand sidebar of your dashboard. Type “Make” in the search bar and click on the Install button.

Copy the key immediately and save it in a safe place — you won’t be able to view it again after leaving this screen.

5

Add connection

Click the Add button in the module settings and paste the API Key you copied from Cal ID earlier, then click Save. Cal ID is now connected successfully with Make.

Step 3: Send data to other apps

Once Cal ID is connected, you can add “Modules” to your scenario to send that booking data elsewhere:
  • Google Sheets: Automatically add a new row with the attendee’s name and email.
  • CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce): Create a new contact or lead automatically.
  • Communication: Send a custom notification to a Slack channel or via a private server.
Remember to Turn On or Save the scenario in Make to start processing your bookings.
