Most Cal ID problems come down to one of a handful of causes, and nearly all of them are self-serviceable once you know which setting to look at. Pick the symptom closest to yours below.
Before anything else, open your booking link in a private browser window. You need to see what a booker sees, signed out, in their timezone — a signed-in preview hides several of the most common problems.

Start with your symptom

No available times on my booking page

The page is empty, or showing fewer slots than expected. Covers schedules, minimum notice, buffers, booking limits, date overrides, out of office, Look Busy, and timezones.

My calendar is out of sync

Bookings missing from your calendar, outside events not blocking time, duplicates, the wrong calendar being written to, or a connection that stopped working.

No slots on a team event

Collective events only offer times where every assigned host is free. Diagnose overlapping schedules, host assignment, and per-host calendar problems.

An API request is failing

Every error.code the Cal ID API returns, what it means, and whether retrying will help.

Rule these out first

Four checks resolve a surprising share of reports, whatever the symptom.
  1. Check the timezone. Your booking page renders in the viewer’s timezone, so an apparently missing morning may simply have moved. Set the selector on the booking page to the booker’s timezone before concluding anything is broken.
  2. Check the calendar connection. Go to Settings → Calendars at https://cal.id/settings/my-account/calendars. A connection can lapse on its own after a password change or an admin revoking third-party access, and everything downstream misbehaves once it does.
  3. Check the event type, not just the account. Most settings that hide slots — minimum notice, buffers, limits, Look Busy — live on an individual event type, so one link can be broken while the rest of your profile is fine.
  4. Check whether it is one booker or all bookers. A problem only one person hits is usually a booker-specific limit, a declined invitation, or their own timezone. A problem everyone hits is a setting on your side.
Change one thing at a time and reload the booking page after each change. Fixing three settings at once tells you the page works again but not which one was the cause.
