Add new people to a team that already exists. You can invite them directly from the Teams list or from within Team Settings — use whichever is quicker for you.
Only Owners or Admins can invite new members. When you invite someone, you assign them a role: Member, Admin, or Owner.

After you invite: accept and assign a license

Sending the invite does not put your teammate on the team. Two things still have to happen.
1

They accept the invite

Your teammate logs in to Cal ID — or signs up with the same email address you invited — opens the Teams page, and clicks Accept invite.
2

You assign them a license

To host team events, each member also needs an eligible paid license. Assign one from Settings → Subscription, or from Teams → Members. See Subscription and pricing.
Signing up from the invite link alone is not enough. Until your teammate clicks Accept invite, they will not appear as a member of the team and cannot be selected as a host.

My teammate isn’t showing as a host

Work through these three causes in order:
  • They have not clicked Accept invite on the Teams page yet.
  • They do not have a license assigned.
  • They have not been added under Hosts in the event type’s Team tab.
