Keep booker notes and additional booking inputs out of your calendar entries. In Cal ID, the Hide notes in calendar feature controls whether the answers a booker provides appear in the event on your calendar — useful when that calendar is shared with a team.When this setting is on, additional inputs and notes are hidden from the calendar entry. They are still included in your email confirmation, so you never lose the context of the meeting.
The booker’s answers and notes still appear in the confirmation email sent to you and the booker.
On the calendar entry itself, those notes and additional inputs are removed, so anyone with access to a shared calendar does not see them.
Notes and additional inputs often contain personal information. If you use a team or shared calendar, hiding them protects your attendee’s privacy while your confirmation email keeps the full details.
