Let a booker reserve several available time slots in one flow, with each slot saved as its own booking that can be rescheduled or cancelled separately.
Multi-slot booking lets a booker select and reserve several available time slots in a single booking flow. Each slot they pick becomes its own separate booking — if a booker selects three 30-minute slots, Cal ID creates three bookings, each with its own meeting URL, reschedule link, and cancel link.Use it when one appointment is rarely enough on its own: coaching packages, therapy blocks, consulting retainers, tutoring sessions, or any service where someone wants to lock in several visits at once instead of returning to your booking page again and again.
Multi-slot booking is available on Business and Enterprise plans. See Subscription & pricing to check or upgrade your plan.
Not the same as multiple time slots per day. Multi-slot booking is about how many slots a booker can reserve in one go. Multiple time slots per day is an availability setting that splits your working day into separate blocks — for example, to protect a lunch break. They are unrelated features.
Set a minimum and a maximum, and let the booker pick any number in between. With a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5, a booker can select 3, 4, or 5 slots — nothing below the minimum and nothing above the maximum.Use this when bookers have different needs and you only want to define the boundaries.
Letting the booker decide within your range
You can set a maximum of 5 slots in a single booking.
Where the range stops
Specify an exact count. The booker must select exactly that many slots to complete the booking — no more, no fewer.Use this for fixed packages, such as a three-session onboarding programme.
By default, the slots a booker selects are spread across different days. Turn on Allow multiple appointments on the same day if you want to let them stack slots within a single day. With the toggle on, a booker can select consecutive slots — on a 15-minute event, for example, 10:00–10:15, 10:15–10:30, and 10:30–10:45 on the same date.
Allowing back-to-back slots on one date
Leave this toggle off when the point of the package is spacing — weekly coaching or physiotherapy sessions, for instance — and turn it on when bookers benefit from a longer continuous block.
The confirmation page lists every booked slot. For each one, the booker sees its date and time, the meeting URL, and its own Reschedule and Cancel links — so each slot can be managed independently without affecting the others.
Every reserved slot, listed separately
If the booker wants to drop the whole set, a Cancel all slots option cancels everything at once instead of working through them one by one.
Clearing the whole set in one action
As the host, you’ll find each slot as its own entry in your Bookings tab, where it can be rescheduled or cancelled individually.
A 30-minute consultation, configured with Booker chooses slots, a minimum of 3, a maximum of 5, and Allow multiple appointments on the same day turned ON.A booker selects:
Slot
Time
1
10:00 – 10:30
2
10:30 – 11:00
3
11:00 – 11:30
That is within the 3–5 range, so Confirm creates three separate bookings on the same morning. If the event is priced at ₹500 per slot, the booker pays ₹1,500.
Multi-slot booking works with paid events. You set the price for one slot in the event type’s Apps tab, and Cal ID multiplies it by the number of slots the booker selects.
Pricing a single slot, not the whole package
At ₹500 per slot, the totals work out as:

2
₹1,000
3
₹1,500
4
₹2,000
5
₹2,500

With a fixed count, the total is the same for every booker: 3 slots at ₹500 each comes to ₹1,500.

Refunds are not supported for multi-slot bookings. This applies regardless of the refund policy configured on the event type — cancelling a multi-slot booking will not return the booker’s money. Refunds must be issued directly from Razorpay, or whichever payment gateway you have integrated. Make this clear in your event description or booking questions before taking payment.
Multi-slot booking works on all three team event types — Round Robin, Collective, and Managed. Configuration is identical to a personal event type, except that round-robin events add one extra setting.
A round-robin event type gains a Round-robin host assignment setting with two options.
One host for the whole booking
Rotate through hosts
Choose One round-robin host for the whole booking to have a single host take every selected slot. Cal ID picks that host from those available at all of the selected times.
Keeping one host across the series
The booker sees that host on the confirmation page and in the confirmation email.
The same name against every slot
Choose Rotate through the round-robin hosts to distribute the slots across your host pool. The booker may meet a different host for different slots.
Spreading the slots across the team
The assigned host is shown beneath each individual slot, so the booker always knows who they are meeting.
Different host, different slot
If the event type has a fixed host, the booker sees that fixed host against each slot.
Collective events use the same multi-slot configuration as personal event types.
Nothing extra to configure on a collective event
For each booked slot, the confirmation page shows the date, time, and timezone, the meeting URL, the host’s name and email address, and per-slot Reschedule and Cancel links.
What the booker receives after a collective booking
Hosts manage the results from the Bookings tab, where every slot appears as its own booking.
Each slot as a separate entry for the host
Opening any one of them shows only that slot, which can be rescheduled or cancelled without touching the others.
Managed event types use the same multi-slot configuration as personal event types. Configure it once on the managed event and it applies to every member’s copy.
Yes. With multi-slot booking enabled, a booker can select multiple available slots in one flow. Each selected slot is created as its own separate booking.
Where do I enable multi-slot booking?
Go to Event Types → open the event type → Multi Slots, switch Multi-slot booking to ON, configure the slot count, and save.
How many slots can a booker select at once?
Up to 5 slots in a single booking, in the current configuration.
Can I force bookers to select an exact number of slots?
Yes. Choose Fixed number of slots and enter the count. The booker must select exactly that many to complete the booking.
Can I let the booker decide how many slots to take?
Yes. Choose Booker chooses slots and set a minimum and maximum. The booker picks any number within that range and cannot go outside it.
Can a booker take multiple slots on the same day?
Only if Allow multiple appointments on the same day is turned on. It is off by default. With it on, a booker can pick consecutive slots — for example 10:00–10:15, 10:15–10:30 and 10:30–10:45 on a 15-minute event.
What happens if same-day slots are turned off?
The selected slots are spread across different days, so the booker cannot stack appointments within a single date.
Does multi-slot booking work with paid events?
Yes. Set the price for one slot in the event type’s Apps tab and Cal ID charges for the number of slots selected.
How is the price calculated?
The per-slot price is multiplied by the number of slots. At ₹500 per slot, 2 slots cost ₹1,000, 3 cost ₹1,500, 4 cost ₹2,000 and 5 cost ₹2,500. A fixed count works the same way — 3 slots × ₹500 = ₹1,500.
Are refunds supported for multi-slot bookings?
No. Refunds are not supported for multi-slot bookings, whatever refund policy is configured on the event. Process any refund directly from Razorpay or your integrated payment gateway.
Does multi-slot booking work on team events?
Yes — on round-robin, collective, and managed event types. Each slot appears as its own booking in the Bookings tab and can be rescheduled or cancelled individually.
How does round-robin host assignment work with multiple slots?
You choose between One round-robin host for the whole booking, where a single host available at all selected times takes every slot, and Rotate through the round-robin hosts, where slots are distributed across the pool and the assigned host is shown beneath each slot. A configured fixed host is shown against every slot.
